Pocket Radar™: Helping Bring Safety To Central Park

The Pocket Radar Classic model is currently used throughout the world to help with traffic safety.

This past year, reporters from the New York Daily News caught multiple cyclists breaking the 25 mph bike speed limit in Central Park in a 35 minute period.

Numerous pedestrians have cited complaints about the fast cyclists, and several ER doctors even noted that they constantly have people coming into local hospitals after being hit by bikes.  In fact, bike collisions with pedestrians can result in fractures, head trauma or even death.

According to the article, the Central Park area has “become a danger zone where folks on foot have to dodge speeding bicyclists.”
