Pro Radar System with Smart Display Named Best Of Show at 2016 ABCA Baseball Coaches Convention in Nashville, TN

by Tyler Scaturro February 01, 2016

We are excited to announce that the newest product from Pocket Radar Inc., the Pro Radar System with Smart Display, has been selected as one of the prestigious Best Of Show winners by Collegiate Baseball for the 2016 ABCA Convention.

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) holds an annual convention at the beginning of the year to honor the past baseball season’s award winners ranging from High School to College, and showcase new products for those attending.  Pocket Radar, Inc. has been an exhibit hall regular at the annual convention since introducing our first product in 2010.

Here is the excerpt about the product from Collegiate Baseball:

“The new Pro Radar System from Pocket Radar is the world’s first radar and speed display combination that uses standard USB cables and USB power to operate the remote speed display and radar at the same time.  The radar has a range of up to 300 feet with an accuracy of +/- 1 mph.  What also makes this unique is that it can be powered with C size batteries for portable use on the field all day.  You also can receive extended battery life using standard USB power packs or connect directly into a USB power source or charger that will run the radar and speed display independently of the batteries.  The Smart Display has a 3 digit display that is viewable in bright sun over 100 feet away.  It is an exceptional product for coaches working with training facilities, showcases, camps, clinics and combines as they will be able to get instant feedback on ball exit velocity as well as pitching and throwing speeds.”
