Finally took the leap

I’d been eyeing the Pocket Radar for years and kept putting it off — big mistake. Now that I finally own one, I’m kicking myself for waiting. This thing is fantastic: dead-on accurate, incredibly easy to use, and an excellent training tool for our batting cage. It’s also made practice way more engaging for my sons. If you’re on the fence or tempted by cheaper options, don’t bother — this is the one you want.

Need it

Just upgraded from the ball coach, this radar is perfect for my son and I to use for pitching and track exit velos. Now someone doesn't need to hold it and we can set it on the tripod and have the phone tell us the speeds. It's awesome. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Great Device with Great Functionality

I've been using the Pocket Radar for over 5 years and loving it all the time. Then, Pocket Radar came up with the trade in offer which I took advantage of and I'm now enjoying the newest model of the Pocket Radar (Smart Coach). This newer model is a game changer for your players. I used for my daughter and son who are both pitchers. I set the device up with a mini iPad connected via Bluetooth so they can get pitching velocities when they are practicing pitching; they love it.
