2019 AVCA Convention Recap

For the 8th straight year, the Pocket Radar team had a great time exhibiting at the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association national convention.  "With an extensive curriculum of more than 90 educational sessions, the AVCA Annual Convention is the volleyball industry’s most comprehensive learning event of the year."

The annual convention was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from December 18-21, 2019. We had a wonderful time chatting with many familiar and new coaches alike, and educating them about the value of speed measurement when training young athletes to improve their hitting power and mixing serve speeds.

It is very important to the company to attend each year because it lets us interact and engage with volleyball coaches of all levels across the country.  We can get a feel for how the coaches think about the product, how they use it, and what else they would like to see from Pocket Radar.  This year we were happy to display our new Smart Coach Radar with companion app, which was created with direct feedback and input from coaches at past conventions.

We were thrilled to see a couple of users of our technology, Stanford and Wisconsin both battle in the title game (congrats to Coach Hambly on winning back-to-back National Championships).

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
