The Pocket Radar team was in Uncasville, CT for the annual Mohegan Sun World Baseball and Softball Coaches’ Convention January 19-21. Here is a description of the event from their baseball website: This world-class baseball coaches’ convention attracts more than 1,000 coaches from all levels of play, features more than 90 exhibitors from leading-edge companies and offers more than 30 top presenters. Our presenters – major league coaches, top collegiate coaches, successful high school and youth level coaches to top performance specialists covering both the physical and the mental side of the game – are committed to offering sessions that will help you improve your coaching skills and make your team and your entire baseball program better.
We were happy to make the long journey from the west coast to the east coast to interact and engage with baseball and softball coaches of all levels across the Northeast. We can get a feel for how the coaches think about the product, how they use it, and what else they would like to see from Pocket Radar. It is also a great opportunity to let coaches know of the powerful training aspects that Pocket Radar provides other than just measuring pitch speed, including Ball Exit Velocity off the bat.
